La Pena + Ryse Center
Just got through speaking in front of hella people in Oakland. La Pena has a nation of millions behind them yawl seriously. there was hella people there! The Embodiment Project, Marc Bamuthi, Singer Valerie Troutt, and got to see Yuri Kochiyama again....The mural at La Pena is Done and a time lapsed video of the process is on the way...Peep the Ryse Center
Ryse is a dynamic youth center located in Richmond, California. Scott La rockwell, Bounce, and myself painted a mural there about four years ago before it opened. Since then it has helped guide, save, and involve hella young people in the transformation of their city. Were going back to paint a new one. Stay tuned....
